The Roaring Fork River is located nearby Glenwood Springs and offers fun for rafters of every experience level. The lower section of the Roaring Fork River extends from Carbondale to Glenwood Springs and offers a range of Class I, II and III whitewater rapids. For rafting or to kayak, you can launch boats under the intersection of Highways 82 and 133.

This section of water features breathtaking vistas of Mount Sopris and the Roaring Fork Valley. For more adventure, rafters can continue all the way to Two Rivers Park. There, you’ll find a convenient boat ramp at the confluence of the Roaring Fork and Colorado Rivers. There are a number of great local outfitters, who would be more than happy to set you up with a guided trip down one of Colorado’s finest stretch of water.
